Fall is almost here. It’s a good time to get your fresh produce and baked goods at the Allen County Farmers’ Market.

This Thursday on the downtown square, vendors will offer the following: fresh baked goods including bread, cookies, muffins, pies and sweet breads in addition to gluten sugar free selections; not to mention chicken, beef, eggs, jams and jellies, hand-crafted walnut/oak/hickory wood bowls, cutting boards and rolling pins, as well as jewelry, soaps and natural personal products and garden mums. The fresh produce selection you will find includes arugula, cantaloupe, cucumbers, fresh herbs, garlic, honey, hot peppers, okra, micro greens, squash, sweetcorn, tomatoes, watermelons and zucchini.

Kathy McEwan will have a food demonstration starting at 5:45 p.m.

Brenda Clark will be back for an encore show, her last appearance of the year.

The market accepts EBT, Debit cards and participates in the Double Up Food Bucks Program.
